Transportation Information

Did you know that 50 percent of the U.S. population lives within 700 miles of Nashville? Nashville is one of the most centrally-located, easy to travel to destinations in the nation.

Getting There by Air

The Nashville airport code is BNA. The airport is serviced by 16 airlines, including major carriers and their regional partners; they average 400 daily arrivals and departures. Flights are available to 90 markets, with 40 being nonstop.

Airport Shuttle

Gaylord Opryland offers daily shuttle service, round-trip, from the Nashville International Airport to Gaylord Opryland. You may find the Gaylord Opryland Welcome desk on the lower level of the airport located between the two escalators. An agent will assist you with your ticket, or you may use the convenient kiosk located at the desk. The agent will assist you with directions to the bus. In the event you do not encounter an airport agent, you may proceed directly to the bus and the driver will assist you with your ticket purchase. You will locate the shuttle location immediately to the left as you exit the front door of the lower level of the airport.

Daily Express Shuttle Service

  • 5:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
  • 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (departs every 20 minutes)
  • $35 per person, round-trip
  • $25 per person, one-way

Taxis and Rental Cars

Cabs are available from the taxi stand on the ground level of the airport. Nashville features a flat-fee service triangle between the airport, downtown and Gaylord Opryland Resort. From point to point, taxi fares are currently set at $22 per cab for up to four passengers; within the triangle, charges should not exceed the flat fare rate, which should be posted in the rear window of the taxi.

All major auto rental agencies are represented. Hertz has a full-service operation on-property at the Gaylord Opryland Resort.
