Kevin Parker is a recognized technology industry leader and the driving force behind Deltek’s customer-focused strategy of providing superior enterprise application software and services to project-focused organizations worldwide. Leading more than 1000 employees in 12 offices worldwide, Parker looks to further Deltek’s industry leadership, expertise and product portfolio in a range of industries, including aerospace and defense, architecture and engineering, government contracting, IT consulting, project manufacturing, professional services and nonprofit. Prior to Deltek, Parker served as CFO and co-president of PeopleSoft.

Jerry Linenger
Astronaut and American Hero

During what was one of the most dangerous and dramatic missions in space history, Jerry Linenger spent nearly five months aboard the Russian space station Mir. He survived an out-of-control spacecraft tumbling uncontrollably through darkness, the worst fire ever to occur in space and repeated failures of critical life-support systems.

In spite of these challenges, Jerry and his two Russian crewmates accomplished all mission goals; shuttle docking, space walking and all 120 of the United States science experiments. During the mission, he logged 50 million miles - the equivalent distance of over 110 roundtrips to the moon - traveling at an average speed of 18,000 miles per hour. At mission completion, Jerry held the endurance record for the longest time in space for an American man.

While aboard Mir, life's true priorities crystallized for him and motivated him to survive. Jerry will share his amazing experiences, painting pictures with words. He will challenge you to embrace change, rise to the occasion and confront challenges.
